Art in the style of David Hockney

We have been looking at the art of local artist David Hocknrey.  We visited Skelton woods and took pictures ourselves of the woods.  We then used these images to make pictures using a collage technique. The end result are fantastic and I hope you enjoyed them when they came home.  We also looked at a painting called Garrowby Hill by David Hockney.  This painting is a landscape picture of North Yorkshire where Hockney used bold colours and defined lines to show the patchwork of hills. We painted the road and outline of the hills first and then used bright colours to show the patchwork of hills.  I was really pleased with everyone's careful work, they looked fantastic.
